Adult Education
Micah's Continuing Adult Education program offers many opportunities throughout the year.
On several Friday nights, prominent local and nationally-known speakers are invited to discuss current issues. Micah joins with Shearith Israel, West End Synagogue, and Congregation Ohabai Sholom in a unique Introduction to Judaism series.
Parents are encouraged to do some learning while their children are learning! Sunday Adult Seminars run concurrent with our Religious School hours. Adult Hebrew is offered for students of any level of Hebrew knowledge. Also taught in a series of weekly classes, this has led to seven Adult Bar/Bat Mitzvah classes.
Rabbi Laurie and Rabbi Flip host a regular Thursday morning "Schmooze & Views" group with plenty of discussion centering around the important Jewish events of the day.
And don't forget regular Shabbat morning Torah study at 9:30am before the 10:30 service.
