Room In The Inn - Program Participation
Room in the Inn is a national program that provides shelter for the homeless in
houses of worship throughout many cities in the United States. We are proud to
say that once again Congregation Micah, for the sixth year, participated in the Nashville area.
We hosted 16 guests on five nights during the cold-weather season. During the
past five years, we found that participation is a chance for families,
including youngsters, to participate as a unit and derive a great deal of
satisfaction from the activity.
A big Todah Rabah to everyone who helped out with the 2011-2012 Room in the Inn program, through volunteering your time and donations of winter clothing and necessities. We look forward to next year!
