Get Connected!
With a vision of bringing Jewish teenagers together to learn
from one another, and in the spirit of KlalYisrael, we here at Micah in
conjunction with other area synagogues, created the Get Connected! Teen Trip to
Israel. The program includes study
prior to leaving and enables 11th grade students to travel to the holy land
on a highly subsidized, comprehensive trip. It is made possible through the generosity of the Jewish Federation of
Nashville and Middle Tennessee and several private donors.
Modeled on the Birthright experience, Get Connected links Nashville’s Jewish
kids to one another and Israel in powerful ways. It teaches them how to celebrate and express
their diversity within Judaism in an honest and authentic manner. In addition to traveling throughout the holy
land, the trip also includes staying in the homes of Israeli teenage students
